NICOA Job Openings
National Indian Council on Aging (NICOA) wishes to fill 2 Full Time Staff, 1 Part Time Staff, and 3 Consultant positions.
Staff and consultants are to be involved with a federally funded Minority Aging Organization grant.
Expected Project Completion is July 31, 2015.
All positions contingent on grant funding.
STAFF POSITIONS – MUST have valid driver’s license & adequate vehicle insurance
Executive Assistant – located in Albuquerque
National Indian Council on Aging (NICOA) is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) that works to promote access to aging services for American Indian and Alaska Native Elders nationally, by providing a network of information resources and social services, health, employment/training, and national public policy advocacy. NICOA is a membership organization with over 1500 members from across the country. Members convene biennially at the NICOA Conference on Aging in Indian Country to establish NICOA’s Aging Policy Agenda for American Indian and Alaska Native Elders.

Project Coordinator – located in Albuquerque; BA required, MA preferred; some travel necessary
Requirements:
Direct Experience with American Indian & Alaska Native populations
Experience/Knowledge of aging population & national aging network
Direct Experience working with Federal grants
Very computer literate with Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook
Leadership ability and coordination skills
Writing, Editing, Planning, Organization, and Multi Tasking
