In an effort to effectively reach the vast number of tribal communities, Banner Alzheimer’s Institute has created the Native American Toolkit on Alzheimer’s Disease to support professionals, educators and community health workers helping caregivers of people with dementia.
This toolkit is filled with the best resources, tips and strategies the team has to offer specifically curated with the American Indian and Alaska Native population in mind. It is intended to help attendees educate and support families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
This training will go over all materials, suggestions for use and case examples for practical application. In order to participate in this event, you must have an internet connection, a computer and/or a phone. Registration is free but required to obtain the ZOOM Login Information and phone number. ZOOM information will be sent to registrants prior to the event. $50 fee covers toolkit and shipment of materials.
