In this time of uncertainty, there’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past two years, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Through donations to charitable organizations, generosity has been helping the entire world get through this difficult time.
The National Indian Council on Aging is participating in GivingTuesday today, the global day of unity and giving. As you know, for over 45 years, our organization has worked to ensure the best for our American Indian and Alaska Native elders, their families, and communities.
But we can’t do this without you!
You can support our organization by donating, by sharing your stories with us, or by volunteering to help at our 2023 American Indian Elders Conference.
NICOA is listed on Network for Good and GoFundMe. These options are safe, quick and convenient. But if you’d prefer, you can also fill out and mail in our general donation form or tribal/corporate donation form.
Corporate Matching
Did you know that each year, an estimated $4-7 billion in corporate matching gift funds goes unclaimed? Check with your employer to see if they match donations! You can do this quickly by using Double the Donation — which is offering their tool for free today! You can also choose to donate stock with these easy tips found in this guide from Donate Stock.
Not only do we need your support, but we also need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too!
Join the movement today! Share our social media channels in your organizational and personal social network. Use our sample messages and graphics to show your support for NICOA on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Encourage your friends and family to join you in creating a real impact today by sharing what our mission means to you and why you support our organization. Make sure to tag us so we can share, and use the hashtag #GivingTuesday!
Share our Facebook posts — facebook.com/NICOAAging, follow us on Twitter @NICOA_Aging and find us on Instagram @nationalindiancouncilonaging. Help us connect with others by using social media to spread the word!
Thank you for being a part of the National Indian Council on Aging team. Together we can advocate for improved comprehensive health, social services and economic well-being for Native elders.
